RISE is a comprehensive hands-on manufacturing training facility and contract manufacturing operation. We train workers across every major discipline while producing real parts for real clients.
The U.S. faces a shortage of 2.1 million manufacturing workers by 2030. Experienced tradespeople are retiring faster than they can be replaced. RISE is built to close that gap.
RISE — Restoring Industrial Skills and Experience — was founded to address a crisis that every manufacturer in this region knows firsthand. Skilled tradespeople are retiring. Entry-level workers aren't ready. And existing training programs teach too little, too slowly, on too few platforms.
RISE fixes that. Students learn on industrial-grade equipment, produce real parts for real industry clients, and graduate with nationally recognized certifications and genuine production experience — not just a certificate of completion.
The only facility training students on multiple CNC platforms simultaneously, preparing graduates for any shop floor environment.
Students learn by making real parts for real clients through our contract manufacturing operation — not simulations.
Online theory plus hands-on lab time makes RISE accessible to working adults, veterans, and career changers.
Graduates earn credentials from NIMS, AWS, OSHA, FANUC, and other nationally recognized bodies — not just a completion certificate.
Each track is a structured sequence of certification modules with defined learning outcomes. Enroll in a full track or take individual modules to build specific skills. Most tracks complete in 3 to 6 months.
Full workflow from blueprint to finished part across multiple control platforms including Fanuc, Mazatrol, and Haas.
MIG, TIG, and Stick welding across structural and pipe applications. Designed to produce AWS-qualified welders.
Full fabrication workflow from flat pattern development through forming, joining, and finishing. Aligned with aerospace employer requirements.
Dimensional inspection, CMM operation, AS9100 and ISO 9001 quality systems, internal auditing, and SPC.
Broad-based track covering CNC operation, fabrication, assembly, and quality fundamentals for versatile shop floor employment.
For experienced technicians pursuing advancement. Lean manufacturing, quality systems, and Lean Six Sigma Green and Black Belt.
Additive manufacturing, industrial robotics, and automation fundamentals including the full FANUC CERT robotics curriculum.

Talk to UsCorporate training is one of RISE's three core revenue streams. We work with manufacturers to develop customized programs for new hire onboarding, incumbent worker training, and apprenticeship pipelines — tailored to your equipment, your processes, and your standards.
Customized workforce training for your existing team or new hires, conducted at RISE or at your facility.
Early access to RISE graduates who complete programs with real production experience and industry certifications.
Equipment and facility sponsorship opportunities with branding, recognition, and community impact.
Students produce real parts for real clients. If your company has production needs, let's talk about how RISE can help.
As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, RISE maximizes grant eligibility and keeps tuition significantly lower than for-profit alternatives. Multiple funding pathways are available to help students cover the cost of training.
RISE is pursuing WIOA eligible provider status, which opens federal workforce training funding through CareerSource Northeast Florida. Veterans may be eligible for GI Bill benefits.
